    Default Whacking Fatties site

I found a site looking around called Whacking Fatties. It looks to be primarily a trout site but I was surprised that it had quite a bit of info on the a Neshaminy Creek, my home water. You can put in other places to fish and will get info. I’m going to stay with it and this could potentially be a place to get PA updates on various waters. I’ll report back.

Thanks, Chaunc. One thing that surprised me about the Neshaminy was how many spots set up to measure flow speeds and so forth. I knew there were some measuring stations because they could predict flood stage, but this is really good info I could keep in my fishing log book and put in notes of what I caught in tough conditions and where. High dirty water is always a problem for me.

Whacking Fatties: Fly Fishing Reports and Forcasting. There is a nice work bar at the top where you can zero in on the water you want to look at. I’m checking it out.

One thing I noticed when I used the search bar was that there was no entry for the Susky. The west branch in NY yes, but not the main branch. I can only assume that is because the Susky isn’t noted for good trout water, and this is a trout site. The upper Delaware is covered as it well should be. I have not fished it but there are BRUISER class trout and smallies that live there! I wish this was a “Whacking Crappies” site! LOL
