Spent the evening on Pymatuning with my nose stuck to the Humminbird screen marking waypoints and writing a brief summary of each. Is it fishing? I think so. Having spent a lot of time on rivers, creeks and Lake Erie learning Pymatuning is a challenge. Learning moving water is easy because of my experience. I know where to fish and avoid the dead water. My goal now is to eliminate dead water on lakes and there is only one way, put the time in looking mostly at that flat screen.

Anyways after 4 hrs. of cruising I stopped at a promising spot and fan casted some of my homemade road runner type jigs for about an hour. We caught crappie, nice bluegill, perch but mostly cats. Left just about dark. Threw everything back for a better day. Learning and having fun and that's what tickles my fancy.
