    Sorry for the late post...
    DAILY LAKE INFO FOR MONDAY, JUNE 17:
    Lake elevation, 4:45 pm - 901.15, 6.48 feet above summer pool
    Gate openings - Gates 1-7 are open to 1.5 feet each
    Outflow depth - 4.48 feet
    River depth at Transfer - 8.45 feet
    Precip: 0.96" in the past 24 hours
    CLOSURES:
    Clark Boat Launch
    Golden Run Wildlife Area
    Chestnut Run Swim Beach
    Mahaney Boat Launch (later this evening)
    Campsites 262-277, New Duck section of campground
    Campsites 53,54 82-90, Canal Loop (no electric service)
    Sections of the outer access road of the Bayview ORV Area
    The Shenango, Parkers, and Hartford launches are still open. The campground is still open except for the sites listed above.
    Remember that navigation buoys may have drifted from their original location, use caution when boating.

    8.07 feet above normal summer pool
    Gate openings - Gates 1-7 are open to 2 feet each
    Outflow depth - 5.54 feet
    River depth at Transfer - 5.84 feet
    Weather - cloudy
    Precip - 0.38" of rain during the last 24 hours
    The top five pools of record are:
    908.22, June 29, 1989
    907.97, June 1986
    907.64, January 1991
    907.46, March 13, 2011
    907.07, January 2005
    CLOSURES:
    The only boat launch that is OPEN is the Shenango Boat Launch, 492 West Lake Road, Transfer.
    Campsites 266-277, New Duck Loop
    Campsites 53,54, Main Street
    Campsites 82-90, Canal Loop
    Campsites 210-225, Old Duck Loop
    Campsites 111, 113, 116-119, Pine Loop
    Campsites 136, 137, 157, 159, Pine Loop
    Golden Run Wildlife Area
    Big Bend Access Area
    Old Carlisle Road Access Area
    Rt. 18 Causeway Access Area (Lower Section)
    Campsites are still available in the Shenango Campground. The emergency access road off of West Lake Road is open for access to New Duck.

    The forecast is for another significant rain event Wednesday afternoon thru Thursday. An inch or more expected.

    We should have a good year out on the ice this year. With no one fishing the fish should put on some weight.

    Lake conditions for Thursday, June 20th.
    Lake elevation at 8:00am is 903.21 feet
    8.54' above summer pool
    Gate openings - Gates 1-7 are open to 2.25 feet each
    Outflow depth -5.57 feet
    River depth at Transfer - 4.74 feet
    Water temperature at outflow - 68 degrees
    Precip - .11 inches in the last 24 hours
    Closures:
    Golden Run, Big Bend, Old Carlisle, Chestnut Run, and the lower section of Rt. 18 Access.
    The only ramp currently open is the Shenango Boat Launch at 492 W. Lake Road, Transfer.
    Campsites are still available at the campground, but are limited. The emergency access road off of West Lake Road is open for access to New Duck.

    Neighbor called, because they didn't post on Face Book, what the level was at yesterday. It is now over 9 1/2 ft above summer pool.

    I hunt waterfowl that time of the year and getting a boat into many of my spots is hard with low water levels. Plus I can get away from those fisherman that think it's ok to drop anchor 30 yards from my decoys when I'm hunting. And sit there and fish.
