    Default The pa bite

    Ladies and gentleman,

I come home from vacation tomorrow, after sitting in lower 90’s and humid as all get out for 8 days, I’m ready to fish. Just wondering has fishing picked up any? Before I left I was getting into some, but not a really steady bite. I am hoping to head to pymatuning for a evening fishing trip, anyone help with surface temp on the south end? Did we at least hit 60? Good luck everyone, hopefully Monday morning I will be able to report back with some decent pictures!

I’m coming up on Tuesday to see if they’re still in that same area. If not there, I’ll move down to the Jamestown area later in the week. How’d you do yesterday?

Went out of Jamestown as always!!Fished from 4-until the high wind rain storm came through and had a little excitement. It was a super slow start I was getting bites, but few and far between. Probably ended up with 6-7. I moved 4-5 times trying different structure I have fished in the past and know where it is. Those spots were not producing how I thought they would. The wind died down enough to travel a little further and that paid off. I fished a solid 30 minutes in a location where I knew fish would be around and didn’t get a single bite. When I say fished 30 minutes I was casting bobby garlands attempting to locate. I pulled anchor and as a last effort was going to drift a little. The second the anchor came up the bite started. Ended up boating probably 25-30. Kept a few for tomorrow’s dinner. The best part about tonight was I got into white crappie and black males that were in their tuxedos. Not much size to them but it was still a blast!Name: DAA3CE5C-3FA5-4F89-ACD1-807D62495EBE.jpg

Posted same pic twice on accident! Had to take a pic of the white crappie for proof! Most fish were in the 9.5-10.5 range but did manage a 13 and a 14 and a handful in between 10.5-12. Super zoomed in because it was dark out!
