Yes, I just posted a new one yesterday.
Gotcha, I looked through that and then the archived reports from previous years. Seems like it will be more of a boat ride! Ohh well, it should be a nice ride if the fish don’t want to bite!

Well folks it was pretty brutal. I ended up with 8 crappie and some perch and gills. Ended up catching them in 12-14 fow probably 45 minutes before dark. I looked at maps and tried to find humps, points, and drop offs to pre scout. When I got out there I drove to the areas of interest and searched for structure or something to hold them. To be honest I couldn’t find much structure. (I thought at a minimum I would find weeds on the humps..nope they are all dead) I never got a nibble in the new areas I searched. Moved to my normal spots and caught perch and gills for a while... About an hour and a half before dark I focused on drop offs and points around where deep structure I marked off earlier in the year.. I couldn’t fish over the structure so I found big bait balls in a the 12-14 range and ended up catching the crappie. The bait was probably 6-7 feet below the surface and the fish were under it. On the 2d I was getting straight lines like they were moving up and down it almost looked like interference, straight lines from 10ft to the bait fish. On the down imaging I was getting dots below the baitfish balls. Well hopefully I can make it out Monday and keep grinding to try to figure it out.
Headed down to pymatuning after work today, going to take the little one out and give it a shot from shore! Hopefully we can find a few gills and perch. It’s her first time fishing so this should be entertaining. Any advice from shore? Never fished from shore, going to try a slip with the heaviest weight I can get on without sinking my bobber. Probably will fish the last hour before it gets dark, going to need some luck.
