    Crappie were on the bite for about 3 hours this morning. They were out from shore suspended down 4 1/2-5 feet down.Bite was extremely light. Just a little wiggle from the float would indicate a bite. Also when ever the float did make a run it turned out to be perch. All small males.

    Totally opposite for me. They bit all morning in shallow water and were slamming the jigs. Culled a limit.

    I was shore fishing. Haven't put the boat in yet. Too much rain. Pretty hard to get to spots where you can fish without standing in water. Have too many Mosquito eyes in the freezer to keep any fish for a long while.��

    Fished same spot as yesterday. Caught a few right off the bat. Than nothing not even a hit. Couldn't figure out why. Just happen to look out from where I was sitting and a big brown log with chain type colors on it's side came by just under the surface. Than another one and another. In an hour saw 4 pike swimming in the bay. All just in the 30-40+ inch range.
