Popcorn shrimp users: Do you try to find it uncooked? Wife looked yesterday at the store and could only find cooked.

I'd imagine that since those would be kind of a pain to process by yourself that most chain grocery stores wouldn't stock them. I bought some larger ones 60-80 per pound and just cut them and soaked them in salt water... I left some big ones for catfishing. The bluegills and shellcrackers around here love the shrimp pieces. So do turtles unfortunately...

Uncooked... I bought them in what little seafood section walmart has. they are kind of a medium sized shrimp and I get about 5 peices out of each one. I did the same soaking in saltwater thing that I saw mentioned here and they hold up reasonably well.

Mine were the cooked small salad shrimp. These came from kroger and were frozen. The fish liked these.

    Default Bream Killer

    Hello Everyone

A Bream Killer below a Miss Prissy (popping bug). I catch 5-1 on the bream killer. I ofter just fish the Bream Killer with a strike indicator.

My favorite live bait would have to be crickets; however, I feel I catch larger fish on the bugs.

    Grits
