    Default Well , it happened!

I took my wife to the town library today to drop off a book after the roads cleared up today .
The town pond , my favorite local fishing hole is located in the town park that connects with the library property.
As I’m driving by , I looked over toward the pond and stopped ( after checking my rear view mirror) .
The pond , except where the fountain is located was frozen all the across .
The dam was still loaded with snow .
We’ve had below freezing night temperatures for about a week and the last couple of day didn’t make it to 32.
    It’s happened before .
Tomorrow is predicted partly cloudy with a high of 43 after a low of 23 .
Maya it’ll melt by the afternoon and I can get in an hour of fishing , although I’m not sure if anything will bite .
If not , Friday is supposed to make it to 48 and sunny .
    I don’t like this weather!

Yeah it’s a little too cold for my liking. And I don’t like this wet weather.

I’m glad to see that you didn’t get out and go sportin around and slip and fall. This is a hard time of year for those of us that love to get outside. Cabin fever is a real thing. Hope it gets better soon.

Lot's of strange weather happening all over the country. We've been frozen here for 3 weeks with 6-9" of ice on the lakes. Tired of waiting for nicer weather. Going to try some ice fishing tomorrow. Got an invite from someone with an auger so we'll see what happens.

Yes Sir buddy, It fore sure has been a roller coaster on the temps this year. We've had freezing rain, snow, wind and extra cold weather to boot. I've been in this same spot 8 yrs now, and this is the craziest it's been. Now we are supposed to be getting warmer weather after this last artic blast. It's crazy to see fols out running around in jeans and T-shirts no jackets in mid-thirty degree weather sayin it's warm...No, I'm a stayin in unless I have to get out, and fore sure don't need a slip on un-seen ice with my new knee...Y'all stay safe, and stay warm....

All our water holes are frozen over. Even the Ohio River has big ice flows!

It’s been 40* in the mornings and overcast and windy most of the days. With the humidity down here it’s miserable. If the wind would lay down it wouldn’t be too bad. Got pretty nice out today, maybe we’re comin round the bend. Gonna try to get out some tomorrow ifn it’s nice.

We’re predicted to get up to 48 tomorrow , and sunny !
Hoping to get out for an hour or so . If the pond is still frozen , I’ll give the creek a try .
