Default Should have been a good week

No doctor appointments , cloudy, but decent temps , then I had to go and pull my right trapezius muscle.
Probably from helping the guy who bought my 10’ jonboat load it up last Friday.
Hurts worse at night which means I haven’t been able to get much sleep.
Not able to do a whole lot of anything except rest the muscle and apply heat and cold pads .
Hopefully I’ll be back up and fishing soon .

Your going about getting that muscle healed up about like I would. Momma hates it when my muscles ache. Says the house smells like what she envisions a gym would smell like...Icy Hot and Bengay ointments...Getting where I can only put it on when she sleeps with her C-pap going...She says it turns her stomach. Get well soon, and we'll be praying for a quick recovery...

Starting to feel a little better this morning, it’s been a week today , that I injured it .
I’ve tried several of the menthol ointments and make my skin feel like it’s blistered . Can’t use them .

Ice packs and heat pads alternating has helped the most .
That and I started using Kinesiology tape yesterday and it really has made a difference in pain . The stick on tape you see on athletes, like the beach volleyball players.
I appreciate all of the prayers . I feel like we are a sort of extended family here .
    Thanks guys !
It’s killing not being able to go fishing .

Glad you're starting to feel better. I've never used the tape but will definitely remember this next time I injure myself. Hang in there, you'll be fishing again soon.

Sorry to hear that, Gill! Get rest, listen to the Doc and get back out when you can! You always have good adventures to write about.

Thanks Bob , it’s better this morning. But not ready for a couple hours casting.
It’s driving me nuts it being able to do anything. But rest is what’s recommended.
