Good job. Nice catches
Another short trip with a short rod . A 4’6” St Croix Premier UL rod with Shimano Soare bb500spg with Nasci spool and handle and 2# Floroclear line .
I caught 2 green sunfish, a couple small warmouth, and a small gill .
The water at Lake McIntosh is dropping again with a lack of rain lately and the fishing has been tough from the banks .
I concentrated on the outsides of the boat ramp by shooting under the docks ,over the rocks under there .
It was the only place I got bit .
Lost two jigs in the rocks .
The little St Croix was a fun rod with the smaller fish available and made a nice dock shooter .
Think I’m going creek fishing next time out . Maybe tomorrow.

I agree on the shorter trips. At some point I just feel I’ve had enough and start packing up. You have some water for the lakes coming your way too. I went to the coast Saturday and did fine. According to my fishing points app it said that there was a major feed at around noon so I stayed til about 1:30. Now that the days are beginning to change a little it wasn’t such a brutally hot day. I don’t do well in the heat lately. Glad to see you getting out like you do.
