Default Better weather , slow fishing

I fished a couple hours today casting three different outfits before settling on my 4’10” Major Craft Finetail Glass paired with a Shimano Soare bb500spg , spooled with 2# Floroclear.
I spent the first hour fishing my 5’6” Daiwa Trout X XUL and 6’ TFO Trout And Panfish II using mini trout magnets on a 4mm tungsten jig . And only caught one small gill .
I continued throwing mini magnets on my MC F Glass without any more fish .
I switched over to my handtied chenille and rabbit fur jigs , mostly in dark olive and started picking up fish .
Ended up with 12 small assorted gills ,warmouth , green sunfish , and shellcrackers. And a couple small bass .
Nothing of any size , and five of those were caught out of one spot , dock shooting , by the ramp , the last ten minutes I fished .
I’ve decided I much prefer my shorter rods when jig fishing . So much better control with very little loss of distance casting .
I was happy to get out and wet a line.

Great colors on those fish. Amazing how good those shorter rods cast.

    Regards
