    Default A little tying today

Dong a little knee recovery today and decided to do a little tying...1/48th Oz little that is. Mostly squirell tail and threw in some white fox tail for belly on 4 of them. Hope the fishes like them...Name: 20230609_174411.jpg

I hope so too...I just have to remember it's not as good as it once was. Working on this wood floor and all the up and down...well it takes it's toll, even with the hard shell padded knee pads, it's the stress of lifting my body weight to stand.

Those will work fine Eric. Same color red squirrel I use sometimes. Try something, and you know I use as small as I can get. Stack the tips of the hair some and shorten the tail to about half the length of the jig. That stopped a lot of my dry hits. If they hit it, it’s too late for them. I can smell the bluegill sammiches already.

And let us know about the white bellies, I like the idea.

Thank you Tim, I appreciate the critique, and will apply it on my next batch I tie. I will for sure let you know about those with the white bellies. Supposed to storm around here the next couple of days, and momma sayin' the fish population in the freezer is getting slim, so I'll be going pretty soon for sure...Thanks again. Eric.
