Default Only 2 hours to fish...

Full moon officially tomorrow, but went today for a few hours, since I was pre-warned by county Res mgmt that a bass tournament (ugh) is underway tomorrow, first one since "covid". Over 20 boats on 380 acres - I'll stay home, and go around 3 to mess, I mean, fish, around them.

Anyway, I caught this magnificent 12" 1.2 lb cracker, and let her/him (not sure, too big to eat, not p-ing) go. But 3 big knot-head blue bulls rode the cooler to a foil-wrapped doom on my grill, with plenty of spice, butter and garlic.

I'm raising my own worms, so I drop them on beds I find with side scan and PLS, or I twitch a trout magnet a La' Randy. Small jig head; 1/32 sickle Lite-Wire or Daiwa JDM Gekkabijin #8 1g.

And a cigar is just a cigar, or, what used to be the finest $4 cigar on the planet. Dang inflation. Good thing I have a big stash.

Cherish the good waters while you can. Best regards to all.

Sounds like that lake is going to be a little crowded. I’d try to avoid it too until they are gone. Good job on the catches.

Hope it was electric only but I’ve seen some setups with three trolling motors and all were over 100# thrust. So many batteries they had to cover entire boat with a deck just to cover the batteries. I’m surprised I haven’t already seen a n electric outboard on those rigs.
