Thread: Couple of Crackers

Nice fish. Really love those fat Redear. I like longer rods personally, only have three rods under 7'. Last year when the Maxima 2# was out of stock I tried the 2# fluorclear. Maybe I got a bad spool but tried several knots but line kept slipping and after losing a few good ones took line off and tossed the spool in the trash. It cast great but knot slippage is a deal breaker. Haven't had this problem with any other line.
