    Default Washington NC 5-28/29

Fished in a nasty storm Sunday and then again in improving conditions Monday. Had to stay after it to limit out both days. With full moon coming this weekend, I'd say it'll be at/near it's peak.

Slab bream right there! Hip bream is what we call the big ones. Your hand cannot hold them so you hole the fish against your hip. Lol!

Genuine stud bluegill in the first pic! I love the way they can’t be turned when you first connect. Very nice box of fish, but I’d have to sit down to get em all ready for the skillet. Good Job Mister!!

very nice , what is the limit on bream/bluegill there , we have the as many as you can keep in an edible condition rule here and no rules other than that on bream/bluegill in Texas

Most rivers it's 30 and no more than 12 redbreast. Many people get the rooster/male bluegill mixed up with the actual redbreast. There are a few caught and the easiest way for me to tell, is that ear flap almost the length of a thumb.
