    That gill in the last picture had some colors there I've never seen before in a northern strain gill. Just under 9". My goal is to catch a 10" gill this year and think there might be some in this lake. Going again today but will take a bass rod and a few baits just in case.

    10 inch bluegill are pretty rare in these parts , seems only the florida coppernose version and or hybrids of them attain them lengths locally , the regular native bluegill here are big at about 7 to 8 inches ....congrats and KABOOM

    Like y’all, I’m looking for one that crosses the ten mark. Haven’t found him yet with all of those that I get. Some are close but not quite.
