Default Reel suggestions for ultralight Loomis

Looking for advise on spinning reel for 5’ Loomis ultra light rods.I have been using President size 20 and would like to stay the same weight or lighter but go up one size.Thinking about Tatula 1000,Feugo 1000,or Regal 1000.Thanks for any ideas.

My Daiwa Fuego LT 1000d is one the smoothest reels I’ve ever owned.
I tried a Tatula but it felt cheap to me even though it cost more and returned it .
I only wished they made the Fuego in a shallow spool version .

I think there are probably a number of different reels that would work for you but you need to go look at the to decide. I have several UL reels but my favorite is an Okuma Ignite, Very small and very smooth!

I have a few of the regals and like em a lot. I think the 1000 size is sweet but may be a bit big for a 5’ rod. There’s lots of good ones available but my advice would be to take a rod with you and feel the balance before you buy. I’ve liked the components I’ve bought but was disappointed when I put em together. I’ve also found a couple of sweet ones that were a surprise to me, didn’t think it would work as well as it did. Good luck in your search.
