Shellcrackers 1/18/23
Dr Phil and I hit the Watts Bar tailwaters for a short trip to see if Stripers and Walleye were active. Not very much. 2 Stripers, 2 White bass and 1 Walleye.
Then we fished for Shellcrackers with night crawlers. We caught quite a few crackers and bluegills but only 5 made our 8” minimum length, but they were nice ones. The smallest was 9.5 and Phil caught a tarp 11” Shellcracker while my biggest was 10.5”. It was a fun morning but it was foggy all day. We fished from 8-noon.
