Thread: What is your favorite hi-vis line and poundage?

    My favorite is Izor line and pretty cheap too. 2-4lb is pretty soft, strong and manageable on spinning. All the slab I caught using 4lb Izor line as leader. As far as fish can see line, I think they see all type of line but depends all how they interpret.

    My goto is 4# Mr Crappie in hi-vis. It does have a tendency to build up memory. When it does I stretch it out in the yard. I maybe fish 4 trips with it and then replace it. Reason I use hi-vis is to see the line. I love to watch the line. I don't believe crappie are line shy.......BUT......I do believe that blue gill are line shy. Shell Crackers are even worse.

    I was just looking at Fins Crappie Braid wonder if it's any good ,small diameter for sure.I just tried some Vicious panfish hi vis yellow#6 that I like.
