    Default Town pond UL bassing

UL bassing with a surprise catch .
Overcast , upper 60’s with a storm front due this afternoon.
I love catching anything on UL , but bass will stretch your line , even a small one .
I fished my 7’ Daiwa Procyon UL paired with a Shimano 500 Nasci spooled with 4# P-Line .
1/32 jighead with a 1 1/2” Slider grub in smoke glitter with the tail dyed chartreuse for all except the last bass , I dyed the whole grub chartreuse when I refished the shore I fished before.
I caught one tiny bluegill , hooked seven LM bass and landed four of them .
A bonus surprise fish was a nice slab crappie . In 25 years of fishing this pond , I’ve never caught or seen anyone else catch a crappie .
I think somebody has been doing some stocking from another lake .
I hope they don’t overpopulate and mess up the bluegill in the pond .
    Fun two hours .

the introduction of crappie should balance the pond well , the bluegill will size up with additional predation

Good bunch of fish. Those temps are hard for y’all to get this time of year. Good pics, glad you got out.
