    Default Cool morning

It was a cool and mostly cloudy when I arrived at the town pond this morning . As the morning progressed the clouds increased.
I fished a float and jig for two and half hours on my 6’6” St Croix Triumph Light rod with a Daiwa Exceler LT 2500 .
I fished hand tied jigs and plastics .
I caught one bluegill on a 1/80th woolybooger and a small bass on a trout magnet.
I had three light bites , and lost another gill that came loose on the way in .
A slow morning. But I enjoyed getting out while I can .
We’re heading into some iffy weather days for the next few months .
Got to go when you can . I enjoy the challenge.

Nice! At least it appears that the cooler temps. have cleaned up the pond water.
