    Default November Fishing

I wasn't able to do any fishing in October due to some back problems. Finally got back to it in the last week with plenty of very warm weather (70s and low 80s) too! Even more fun after the long lay off!

Looks like the warm weather is ending though - a 30-40 degree drop, starting today. Glad I got out.

Nice catch! Glad you were able to get out .
The thermometer read 48 briefly this afternoon for our high for the day.
But it felt a lot colder to me .
    Hope to get out tomorrow.

Well the temps are going to be at or below freezing every night for the next week. No more fishing wearing a T-shirt and jean. Might have to break out the hand warmers!

Looks like an ABU reel casting a very small jig with a siungle spin. What reel is that ans what line?

Good eyes!!! The round reel is an ABU 1500C from 1977. I'm using 4 pound test Diawa J-BRAID x8 GRAND with a fluorocarbon leader. The lure is a beetle spin with the stock beetle changed out with a Panfish Assassin 1.5 Limeteuse minnow or whatever they call it!
