Default Best fishing trip of the year !

My daughter and granddaughters are in town for Thanksgiving , and today the sun finally came out around 2pm , so my granddaughters could take Papa fishing .
It was cool , upper forties, and a little breezy , but the girls , nor I minded . We all had hand warmers in our pockets .
The girls had a great time reeling in the six gills that cooperated.
We used a 6’6” St Croix Triumph light action rod with a 500 size carbon X reel and 3# line .
Mini Trout magnets on a 1/100th jighead with a weighted snap on bobber .
    Making Memories!

Too bad you blacked out their faces. I would have enjoyed seeing their smiles. Great family time.

I blacked their faces per their mother’s request .
Trust me , they had a great time . They love to fish !
And I loved spending time with them.
Their dad is in the Marines. I don’t get to see them enough.
