Couple of micros from today .
I had to go back five pages tip-off find my Micro Fish picture thread .
But without the little guys , my short trip today would have stunk it up .
I fished about thirty minutes while my other half was getting her hair done , at lake McIntosh .
Today’s conditions stunk enough .
According to the weather folks it was 88 degrees , with an eleven mph wind with gusts to twenty-two .
It was mostly on the high side , the whole time I was there .
And we haven’t had any rain lately and the lakes are falling quickly . A lot from evaporation, but these are also drinking water reservoirs and with the heat , folks are watering their lawns.
The lake had dropped over a foot and half . Most of the riprap was out of the water .
I was fishing my latest combo , the Palms Quattro with a Shimano Soare ss500spg .
It took most of my time to figure out where and what I needed to do to catch the last two .
I thought the smallest Warmouth was going to be it , until I started shooting the dock next to the boat ramp and caught a green sunfish and a little bigger warmouth.
Twenty four minutes between the first and last fish .
That’s what little rods are for , catching little fish

Well, GC999 .... they gotta eat & they don't know how big/small they are, they just hungry !!
One lake I fish for Crappie at, that has mostly rocky banks, will produce Green Sunfish of all sizes if you get your jig or Road Runner within a foot or so of the shoreline. And sometimes even out a bit deeper. Ain't no mistaking a Greenie bite for a Crappie bite (or a Bluegill bite), as they are "hit & run" biters. Ain't no peck peck or "tic" bites from the Greenies.
