Good move, those are some nice ones.
Headed to the town pond this morning with my 6’6” 3wt Powell Sweet Pea with a junebug colored woolybooger tied on , with the hopes of getting a bass to bite .
The weather was overcast for the most of the morning.
I started on the dam side and worked the shoreline pretty thorough . Finally after about thirty minutes I got my strike but rolled him . Dang it . I hate when that happens. It was a bass , I saw it , probably around a pound . Would have been fun on the flyrod .
When the others that were fishing today came over to my side , I went over to the bridge .
Wound up catching five gills on woolyboogers , both the purple junebug and a black one .
I tried one of my spiders and they wouldn’t touch them .
Picky gills .
The three better ones .

Nice, gill. Hard to beat a woolybugger. I love an olive one with a little flash. I think it looks very minnow like.

Some nice gills, glad you found some that wanted to play. With any luck I’ll be able to post some pictures tomorrow.
