Default First Ant not using foam (Opinions ?)

I am looking for opinions and suggestions. This is the very first fly I tied without using foam and I call it a Red Ant.

So tell me what you think please.

Looks like it would work good for trout so I am assuming bluegills would hit it too.

I used to use one of the most simple flies ever for trout... I would wrap peacock feather around a hook until it formed a nice fat body.. It looked like a type of shiny little beetle that lives around here. Worked great on stream trout.
