    Default Went in light today

Just a Cabela's Prime 6'4" glass 4wt. and a small pack. Nice walking in without a bunch of gear for a change. The aquatic weeds off the bank made for some tough roll casts and landing fish. Did manage a half dozen or so small green sunfish/gill hybrids like the one in the first pic. and one nice size one also. Lost a real nice size regular gill trying to lift it out of the water since I decided to go light and not take the net today. It had one of those super bright orange bellies, and I was thinking, boy, I'm gonna take a pic of this one.Name: DSC02518.jpg

    Now we’re talking !
    Nice outfit ! Congrats !
I kick myself all the time for not picking up a couple of those Cabelas Prime fiberglass rods when they were available.
I wasn’t fishing as much when they came out .
Cabelas will never be the same anymore.
I was hoping Cabelas would raise BPS up a little but it seems just the opposite happened.

Looks like fun to me. I gotta get out soon. Stinking appointments are eating up my fishing time.

    gillchaser,
Thanks. It is a shame no one has stepped up to the plate to replace some of their name brand products that were discontinued.

Well, I guess neither, just a plastic bait that I was messing around with. The one I was using today was on a #10 Owner mosquito hook.(very slow sink rate) I do have some that I placed on a Wapsi 1/124 jig head, but have not used yet. Here is a pic of both. Thanks for asking.

That looks like a very peaceful spot to chuck bugs on a bug wand. Thank you for sharing.
