Ah ha! Very good idea. So it sounds like they have a longer useful life than some soft plastics. I like it.

They are like hard plastic feeling like the plastic of a crankbait but the size of a Wax Worm or Meal worm. Use the head cement that is used in fly tying.

The problem with live bait is that they steal the bait or it easily tears off the hook. Feed them something they will eat and that doesn't tear apart.

These WAX WORM and MEAL WORM imitations made from strips of ordinary latex balloons will definitely get their attention and definitely will get bit. Put some "Slab Sauce" or a crappie nibble on them and give them a try. I posted how YOU CAN MAKE THESE on this thread. https://www.crappie.com/crappie/jig-...5562-rojoguio/

Here is a picture. Have fun. I am so glad to see the Panfish forum. There are millions and millions of America who love to catch Panfish. I am one of them.

Ship....great looking jigs! Obviously, you can tip these with bait, but do you catch fish without tipping them? Thx...

You Betcha. I spray "Slab Sauce" on them and use a Crappie Nibble.
