That sounds like an exciting day, glad you posted.
The river was full of green algae slime moving fast on outgoing tide and could not fish the river casting artificial’s without picking up the slime, so l fished the creeks where the black waters are running out of the grass. Caught a variety of bream and small bass on the spin again.
Gonna have to go back to the Santee river which is a longer drive but boat traffic is just beyond heavy here on the overpopulated Cooper river near Charleston. I did get to see a manatee and 3 porpoise on the freshwater side of the river.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Looks like you had a lot better day than I did. The wife and I tried bank fishing from Cypress ramp, and the one across from Gilligans on tail race. Just found super small gills and good sized gators at both places.
Nice catching
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Nice looking Bluegill from down that way.
Some pretty fish. Have you ever throw just the grub without the spinner?
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
I always say I’m going to fish a beetle spin or some variation of it but never end up doing it. Nice fish and congrats on a fun trip!
I have tried the underspin grub and just a grub and catch fish but l catch more of the bigger ones on the beetle spin along with smaller bass.
I think bream will hit a wide variety of lures for sure.
