Default Tested rod repair well today...

... and it held up just fine. I even forgot and boat-lifted a few smaller fish. I gotta break that habit! You recall I broke, and then repaired my Abu G ERFS 67SUL. Well, so far, so good. Biggest today was a 11.25" shellcracker bull. Still not sure what's going on spawn-wise, I haven't gotten on a full-tilt bed yet - still ones and twos on the real big fish, anyway. Was surprised to catch one redbreast today; these were never stocked, just impounded when they made the lake. 77F surface temp.

Good catches for sure….rod repair should hold up fine if it passed the test today. Beautiful fish both species are!
