Default Slow morning at the pond

I got to spend a little more than an hour and half this morning at the town pond .
I think the fish took Sunday off .
I’d fished a variety of Trout magnets and Bobby garland baits for about an hour before I caught a small bluegill .
That was after I switched over to my drop shop rig with a Bobby Garland Itty Bitty swimmer .
    Wound up catching four .
I had competition today , two families and a bass fisherman. Nobody was tearing them . And one family was using live bait .
Combo today was a 5’ Rosewood UL paired with my old Shimano Stradic 1000 spooled with 4# Mist green P-line .

Thanks Bob , I enjoy fishing with the little Rosewood UL rod .
I own rods costing four or five times than these do , but right now they’re gathering dust .
Fun little rods for just over $30 .
I’ve got two of the 5’ UL spinning rods and a 5’ UL baitcasting rod , I use for BFS .
I’m waiting for a 5’6” UL spinning rod to show up any day now . It was only $4 more .
It takes 4-7 weeks to get them , but are worth the wait IMO .
I wouldn’t be surprised if the same people aren’t making some of the JDM rods for other companies.

With me ,it always +1 . LOL !
    I can’t help it .
    If you like a short 5’ ultralight rod . It’s a bargain IMO .
It doesn’t have a hook holder , but I can remember when rods didn’t come with them . Doesn’t bother me .
It has a solid , fast tip . Oh and it’s a two piece with spigot ferrules . Feels like a one piece .
It’s just fun to fish with .
Usually after a week , I’m on to something else , but I’ve been playing with these for awhile now . Keep going back to them .
