Thanks everyone. It’s all I’m gonna catch this weekend. It’s about 40* and fairly windy right now and I’m not feeling that brave. Maybe this afternoon……….

It is real snake skin. A friend made a shark rod for me about 15 years ago using the stuff. See what happens when you follow your gut instead of that other voice.

It has been cold. The past few days have me thinking we moved to Minnesota or something. Cold and damp. Even the schnauzer doesn’t like this stuff.
Maybe they will bite this one……

Pretty rod and I really like that jig.
Hope you get to use it soon.

    Nice looking bug too.
Look forward to a review of both ?
That IS a unique looking handle, Skeet. Sounds like you got a real nice rod and with that balance should fish for hours. How would you compare the action to say a TSS, which I know you have? Congrats on a nice find (and a lighter wallet)

Thanks Bob. It feels like a fast action but would be hard for me to compare to a longer rod. Good action with a little backbone, long way from parabolic. I’m wanting to go try it but it’s just cold and I’m not loading the boat. Might go to a dock just for laughs.
