    Default Good bluegill midday bite. 1/18/22


    Gary “Biofisher” Fomby and I got out this morning near noon to fish for a couple of hours for bluegills. We had a great time. We took 30 keepers with 5-6 of them were 9” or more. All the rest were at least 8” with most being fat 8.5” gills. I love wintertime gill fishing when weather permits. Catawba worms was the bait that we used.

    Nice winter catch !
    I got skunked today .
    Weather was nice , sunny and 51 , but it’d been nasty the days prior .
    Hope to try again tomorrow, before the next wave of cold weather sweeps through.
