Default Tried and true on a holiday

Got up to 60 today, I grabbed some worms just in case the fish needed some motivation. They ignored my trout magnet, and I only got one hit on a nibble tipped gulp. A half inch of a night crawler lasted me 90 minutes before I had to grab another one. Some were decent, most were small. But on the ULW it’s always fun.

Ended up just over 20 fish in two and a half hours, and thoroughly enjoyed my day off. Did a few hours of charity work, rode my bike, and caught some fish. Three passions in one day, I’ll call it a good one. Name: IMG_7637.jpg

I like to tip the Trout Magnet with a piece of worm.

Hadn’t thought of that, I always use a crappie nibble. I’ll try that next time!
