Default Last chance before the storm

Today was the last day of sunshine before the winter storm predicted to start tomorrow evening. Cloudy and cool tomorrow.
I got a chance to fish an hour before lunch and tried some Bobby Garland Itty bits on the drop shot for half the time without a nibble .
So I switched over to one of my woolybooger jigs and caught a small gill before having to leave for lunch .
Returned around 3:30 armed with my St Croix 5’4” Panfish with a Kastking Zephyr 1000 filled with 4#P-line .
I caught two 8-9”-ers including a nice looking hybrid both before 4:30 , then nothing until I left at 5:15 as the sun was dropping fast .
Outfit before lunch was a 5’ St Croix Premier ULM paired with a Kastking Zephyr Finesse 1000 spooled with 4# P-line clear blue fluorescent .
I’ve been trying out different combos the last couple of weeks and the ones paired with the SC 5’4” Panfish have been my favorites.

That is so awesome you have a body of water so close to hit during lunch. Congrats on the afternoon catch.
