    RE the Gulp - I put them back in the jar when I was done so that they wouldn't dry out. I used the same technique as the TM, in fact I just replaced the TM on the jig. Under a TM float, slow retrieves with the occasional pause and twitch. Seemed like I'd get the most bites when it was just sitting out there, but it was 20 mph + winds so it was probably moving more than I realized.

    first time i ever used 1 inch gulp minnows we loaded an ice chest with bluegills .
    they were just deadly that day .

    Went for about 45 minutes yesterday, about all I sneak away these days. Three bass and six gills.
