That's true and yesterday this happened twice. I was reeling in a bass and another bass of equal size followed it up to the boat and was striking at it. I've often witnessed bass trying to eat smaller fish that were hooked but never the same size!

The more the merrier when it comes to school fish - just one example of fish not putting two & two together. Heck, if I saw a panicked buddy get hooked and taken, I sure as &^@& wouldn't bite the same lure, but most fish in the school would! When that little bass struck that lure, it was in a bite frenzy same as those school fish busting a gut to get in on the action.
