Varivas Super Trout Infinity PE X8 Line Shines.
Caught some big brood trout below Normandy Dam…17-18 inches. Used the TenRyu Rayz Spectra 6’ 1” Stream Trout Rod in Light Light action. Had it spooled up with Varivas Super Trout Infinity PE X8 in 5.6# test line. Lures were Forest MIU Abalone Spoon 4.2 gram with single hook and a Nikas 3 gram spinner with single hook. These are heavy fish and gave a great battle in the current. The Infinity PE line makes for quick hook set. For those who have not tried a premium Japanese braid….and if you use braid….you should definitely give this a try. Life is good and getting better!

That is a great line, I have a couple trips in with it and it is soft, supple, and gives solid hook sets. I am trying the Varivas Avani SW Finesse tomorrow in the 5.6 as well. Will get a report out soon I hope. Those trout look like a fun ride for sure.
