Good looking fish and scenery. Awesome looking rods and reels
Fished two lakes a couple of days, from sunny and 70's to overcast, rainy and in the 40's. From flies and poppers to dragging spoons w/Gulp minnow trailers slowly across the bottom. Caught the most fish in the middle of that w/Gulp minnows under a float but a whole lot of small ones included with that approach. As the small lake came into view today I noticed ducks close to the left bank and grabbed the camera. Could be the woodies w/young seen earlier in the season at this lake. You can see two silhouetted middle bottom of first pic. They quickly busted me but snapped a pic of them taking flight. Today was the worst day weather wise and best as far as fish caught. Snagged and broke off my spoon as the rains started so decided to call it a good day. Thanks for lookin!

I can see those FALL leaves starting to drop. I can only imagine their transition from green to yellow then orange, for us southern Nevadans, we have to road trip our ways toward Utah in mid September to see the beautiful foliage during fall color.

Now that looks like a fun trip. I like your variety of gear and that little gold spoon will bring some trout to the bank as well. Congrats on a beautiful outing.
