Default Multispecies Panfishing in the Everglades

I spent a little bit over an hour out of Tamiami Trail in the Everglades fishing a crappie magnet. The goal was to get some various cichlid and sunfish species and I sure managed to do that. I caught a wide variety of species, both native and non-native, that made for a very enjoyable afternoon. Some of the bigger cichlids sure do fight well. Hope you like it.

A few weeks later in the same spot and the results were slightly different. No native sunfish and plenty of non-native cichlids. They sure do put up a great fight, but I still prefer catching the natives.
