Glad it went well for you Chaser. I have another suggestion. Shorten the seat pole. I know it’s fixed but they will come apart. Take off an inch at a time until you get the right length. I’m 6’2” and need mine a bit taller than most. I believe 11” is standard and mine is 13”. Makes a big difference.

Glad you got out and caught some fish. I have upgraded the seats on my little pelican to the millennium seats and I believe they make a huge difference. Congrats on your outing.

Thanks . The best part is it’s only about 10 minutes from my garage ..
I spent the afternoon today adding a couple of rollers and new lights with new wiring to my solo boat I’m putting together.
It’s an Alumacraft 10x36 I bought several years ago to fish a couple of ponds I used to have access to , and only got to use it a few times .
I’ve got a Millennium boat seat for it also , but it’ll be mounted in the back .
Hope to repack the bearings tomorrow and mount the seat .
Maybe on Friday , I’ll be able to make a solo trip down to the lake .
The 10x36 will be easier to handle by myself , it’s so light . So is the little trailer.

Took the 14x36 Alumacraft out this afternoon with a fishing buddy of mine.
What a beautiful afternoon to be on the lake , low 70’s , light wind .m
We took off for the back of the lake hoping to fish a big flat that’s been productive in years past .
When we got there we found a underwater mossy mess . A duck and goose paradise.
I should have known . The lake level has been up for at least a couple of years .
During our drought years the draw down would keep the vegetation under control.
Plan B , a big cove just before the backwaters.
No monsters today , but I was able to bring nine panfish to hand , including bass , bluegills , shellcracker, and redbreast .
Here’s a couple . All were caught on 1/32 jigs with a shortened slider grub .
