    Hi everyone just want to share pictures of the DAM Quick reel I’d used a few times since the mid 90’s purchased for $35 at swap-meet. These were times when $70 to $100 was a lot of money for me to spend on a reel and that was what a excellent Penn 750s we’re going for.

    Nice reels in this thread, and I do like the looks of that Panfish hybrid on the popper, bet he pulled!

    heres a few older than vintage a pre 300 Mitchell half bale on a bamboo rod from occupied Japan, a 309 Mitchell on a horrock and ibbotson u.l. bamboo, a 305 on another occupied Japan bamboo , and another 309 on a U.L. glass rod Name:  20210922_180034 (1).jpg

    I actually have more bamboo than anything else, just seem to cast better in my hands....

    Splits in the hex pieces, also any real dark areas where water has gotten into. the splits can be fixed but its a pain the water or mold spots I shy away from...loose windings are easy enough to fix and anypricing should reflect that . other than that they easy enough to refinish ...

    I have stayed away from them over the years just not knowing anything about them. It's about time to find a UL rod to mess around with
