Default Sometime it is enjoyable to get back to your roots

I had an hour to go fish. I grabbed a pack of hooks, floats, and weights. Threw a container of wax worms. Walked about a 1/2 mile down the trail to a little creek flowing into the lake from the mountain. Even the small ones put up a good fight on the Okuma SST ul rod and the little Diawa underspin. That little rod looks like a hoot for Creek Panfish. Those Green Sunfish will attack anything, nice catch.

A hand sized gill will give you a good fight. Looks like you are fighting a monster. Nothing will make the little ones feel like a monster

They liked the wax worms over the meal worms. Ironically so did the chickens

This one looks like a trout stream in sections. No trout stocked in this on though
