Had an afternoon full of them last Friday. That is the only thing I found on the river docks
:I would like to thank the builders of docks for giving me a place to fish and lose tackle

I call them tail-peckers - little peckers for short. Best way I've found is to downsize my grubs to 1" in length. The little guys almost always get hooked. Much of the time though, for some reason, the little ones get hooked on 2" lures.

when we see them get down in the brush piles with the crappie we know it is about to be fall , they start going deeper when the sun starts to lessen in these parts , wont be long before they are sitting on the bottom here

if they are in numbers and ruining my crappie outing I downsize and hurt them for good measure sometimes .....
