    It's a very nice size and beautiful in color whatever it may be. When I first saw the picture I thought it was possibly a rock bass, but I'm not really familiar with them (never caught one). Warmouths are plentiful around here in north MS, but I've noticed the local coloration differs quite a bit from a lot of the pictures I see folks post of them from other regions on here.

    Sounds plausible. Guess nature doesn't abide by human identification-of-animal rules. Only the fish know what they are. LOL
