    Default sure were biting well


    we visited our friend's place west of town yesterday .
    the bluegill were totally bananas for some reason .
    everyone was "perch" jerking and they had some real steam .
    the crappie were pretty so so though .
    sure was a nice sit in the shade with the north wind all cool in our faces .
    one fella kept a few fish to take home .
    we just sat there for about 1.5 hours in one spot dangling our legs and jigs
    good times it was for sure ....

    it really was a sweet deal , a small norther came thru and dipped the temps down about 10 degrees and tossed a hand full of rain down upon us and a few clouds broke up the sun

    I am hoping the cooler temps and shorter days will get the crappie moving onto the docks. Cooler temps also will not hurt to keep the ski/ wake boats off the water.
