Default Big Coppernose Bluegill in South Florida

Threw around a couple of my favorite soft plastics around a South Florida lake and they produced well. Both the Eurotackle anisoptera and the Trout Magnet are probably my two favorite lures to use for bluegill and other panfish. I don't know what it is about the Trout Magnet, but such a simple design makes the fish go crazy.

Nice Gills, like the Anisoptera here as well.

I'm blessed to have a home pond stocked with coppernose bluegill...some get well over a pound and they are a blast on a fly rod, especially on my home tied spiders. Thank you Lord!!!

Those Trout Magnets will catch a lot of gills. I enjoy using them. If I only fished for gills it's the only bait I would use most likely.
