What do you fish for below dam this time of year? Late winter it is terrific for White Bass.

Was on Tennessee River yesterday below Nickajack Dam past the South Pittsburg "Bluebridge". Moderate current lead me to believe only one generator running. Water temp at 78.4
Do you fish directly below dam or downriver?

Saw that….but him…and about 99 percent of folks on CC will never venture where we go with this line…..LOL. Got a reel spooled up with some of this in 1.5# test. The 2# will be a game changer for me. While Ester is more sensitive than FC….Blue Moon means no more leader for me…that’s huge. Still amazed how well this line casts. Caught a few nice gills on it yesterday in about 12 feet of water. Have not been able to get out in the boat yet. Purchased new vehicle last week and had hitch put on Monday. Then the storms kicked in and looks like rain all week. Plus have to pick a day my wife can go as the doc said first time boat launching she had to go…LOL. Was going to go to the Caney to test out the Infinity X8 but water temps are up and the trout are stressed…so don’t want to hurt any fish.

    Regards
