Thread: Roosters and Hens

Let this here rooster and hen go on about what they were doing before I visited them .
In around 10 foot of water and biting light .
Needed turtle food for our baby snapper ,these were a bit large to dice up .
Kept 2 smaller ones and down the road I went pretty fast , midday and HOT in the Texas sun it was ...

it's actually a darn shame the hybrids and sand bass were not on top right on the point behind the fish when I snapped the photos , they were going totally bananas all around me on both sides of me while I was bluegill ketchn .
there were huge shoals of big shad up on the surface in every direction and man were the fish feeding hard in that area of the lake .
Some of the big hybrids were getting some air and it was really a cool sight to see !
