    why does this spot only have large bluegills ?
    i said because the small ones all get eaten is my guess
    someday soon maybe i will target them specifically
    sure seems to be lots of 8 to 9 inch ones in there

    that little sweet spot sure is full of "groceries" my friend , pick your poison and go for it .

    I've had lakes like that and you ketch mostly bigun's because they are more aggressive when bait hits the water. same lake when we put a sein net in cove was full of smaller ones as well.
